YOUR ROLE:

  • Evaluate, refine existing and impending business processes and requisites.
  • Engage stakeholders to make sure business requirements are met, agreed and that stakeholders are on top off of all the activities.
  • Convey with business and technical SME’s to define needs based on an understanding of business, information and technical constraints.
  • Spot risks, challenges and report to the Project Manager for review and corrective action when needed
  • Identify and involve relevant stakeholders and setup workshops to draw out ongoing and future system needs.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst delivering multi-faceted artefacts for government projects.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in requirements elicitation and definition, business process reengineering and process mapping.
  • Ability and experience in facilitating workshops.
  • Compelling business engagement skills.
  • Previous experience in technical writing and documenting guidelines and operational procedure.
  • Ability to influence contributions from stakeholders.
  • Excellent written & interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work within a small team & environment.
  • Ability to respect colleagues and work with a wide range of staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Contract is until June 30, 2019 and may extend for one year.

Nice to Have Experience:

  • In analysis, design and delivery of solutions for asset management functions.
  • Implementing and/or knowledge of Technology One financial and/or asset management products.
  • In communication, development of artefacts and reporting to senior staff.
  • With modelling of processes and requirements in Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Business Analyst Certifications.
  • Understanding of ICT architecture principles.
