The Opportunity

We are hiring a React Front end Developer to work with a digital federal government agency. Successful candidate will

• help achieve the agency's mission
• work within an agile multi-disciplinary Capability Delivery team of Business Analysts, Software Developers and Testers
• build a data layer and APIs for data access and business logic for a public web facing system.
  

For you to qualify

• Australian citizen with a current baseline security clearance
• Amenable for a 6 months contract with an additional 6 month extension
• Can work full time and on site in Canberra ACT office
• Able to (estimate) start on 21 October 2019

Your main skills and experience

• In application/user interface design for front end web applications.
• Recent expeirience n the React framework.
• In public facing transactional web based applications.
• Single-Page Application (SPA) experience.
• Integrating with authentication/authorization frameworks/systems.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript/ES6.

Desirable skills & experience

• With Amazon Web Services would be highly regarded.
• In SASS.
• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Knowledge of regular expressions.
• Familiarity with corporate change control procedures.
