Digital Strategy Implementation Lead - 1971

Description

Apply as a Digital Strategy Implementation Lead and work with the senior staff within the Federal Government Team and have the opportunity to shape solid relationships and showcase your program management skills.

Your role:

  • Engage closely with people across the department.
  • Guide them to achieve the whole-of-government digital transformation vision.
  • Drive digital transformation across government by piloting the Strategy’s action plan.
  • Work jointly with agencies to create the change agenda, record progress and manage risks
  • Engage with agencies to draft the annual action plan.
  • Compile inputs from agencies, report on the program, connect agencies with solutions to reduce risks.
  • Outline action plan with agencies, for publishing late 2019.

Requirements
  • Strong program/portfolio management experience.
  • Digital strategy experience is a big advantage (esp. in drafting annual report).
  • Collaborative and collegiate- able to draw staff and solutions together, including what is provided by the Department.
  • Strong experience in customers’ particular needs.
  • Ability to come up with longstanding and pragmatic solutions.
  • Amenable to work in Canberra City.
  • Preferred start date is Feb 2, 2019.
  • Contract is until end of June 2019 and an opportunity to extend until Dec 24, 2019.
  • Australian Citizens only with Baseline Security clearance.
  • Busines travel may be required and cost will be covered and arrange by the Department.
  • Flexible working arrangement will be considered.
