GoSourcing Pty Ltd is a growing company in the information technology and services industry. We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to play a critical role in the design and implementation of our cloud security architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience in securing cloud infrastructure, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security controls in AWS and other cloud environments. The Cloud Security Engineer will work closely with our IT team to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical business assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for our cloud infrastructure
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments of our cloud environments
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures
• Participate in security incident response activities, including root cause analysis and remediation
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate security risks throughout the development lifecycle
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance our cloud security posture
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to cloud security

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related field
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and industry standards (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, NIST)
• Experience with security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing
• Understanding of network security principles and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
• Ability to develop and maintain documentation related to security controls and processes
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
