Digital Business Analyst (2) - 2129

Description

A Scrum Development Team under a Federal Govt Agency in Canberra is looking to hire 2 Business Analyst to support the agency’s system road map.

As a Digital Business Analyst, you will:

  • collaborate with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Devs and Test analysts.
  • focus mainly on development, technical design and stakeholder engagement using the “SAFe” delivery model.
  • identify and log new and existing business processes and requirements.
  • create and polish product and program backlog items.
  • help with research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities in line with the Digital Service Standard.
  • assist with the development and execution of test coverage and test cases.
Requirements

For you to qualify:

  • An Australian citizen and able to acquire a Baseline Security clearance.
  • Can work full time (40 hrs/week) in Canberra, with occassional remote working option (to be negotiated).
  • Able to start employment mid February up to end of June 2019 with option to extend for one year.

Your skills and experience:

  • Business Analyst experience within an agile delivery team.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering solutions in compliance with the Digital Service Standard.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate between business and technical terminology.
  • Transparent and has a collaborative approach to backlog management.

Nice if you have:

  • Previous experience working within the SAFe agile framework.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products in a development environment (e.g. CRM 365, SharePoint, Team Foundation Server).
  • Business Analyst qualifications.
