Position Overview:

The government has charged the Client with key responsibilities to introduce a Consumer Data Right (CDR). The CDR will give consumers more control over their data and allow them to transfer their data more easily. It will also encourage competition between providers, leading not only to better prices for consumers but also more innovative products and services.

The CDR is being rolled out sector-by-sector across the economy, starting with Banking, Energy underway, and Telecommunications, Insurance, Non-Bank Lending, and Superannuation planned over the next 4 years.

We are after the expertise of a Technical Lead to join our Technology Delivery team within the Solution Delivery & Operations branch. In this role, the Technical Lead will:

  • Be involved with external technical parties to prototype and refine solutions
  • Provide input to service design and architectural principals
  • Mentor and guide team members including .NET Developers, CRM Developers and Testers
  • Provide advice regarding operational readiness

The Technical Lead will have extensive experience in end-to-end solution coding (.NET and/or CRM) and design from conception to deployment, working with the business teams, discussing needs, and incorporating technical functionality that contributes to the CDR roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review technical solutions and supporting documentation
  • Lead Developer Community of Practice to encourage collaboration and promote bestpractices
  • Identify risks and issues, and articulate these to business stakeholders
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, within a Multi-Disciplinary team to refine technical requirements, provide estimates and progress features to deployment
  • Liaise with the stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with the overarching technology and business roadmaps
  • Work with delivery teams to establish best practice processes and introduce tools to help internal improve delivery

Estimated start date: Monday,20th February 2023

Initial contract duration: 4 months

Extension term: Possibility of extensions up to 12 months, based on performance & business requirements

Location of work: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA

Security clearance: Australian Citizen and must can obtain Security Clearance

Work Arrangements:

This role allows for flexible working arrangements, though there is an expectation that personnel be available to work in the office 2 days a week.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Developer using Microsoft specific technologies
  • Highly developed experience in:
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively liaise and keep stakeholders informed and engaged, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile environment

  • Dynamics Portal Version 8
  • OpenID Connect/OAuth
  • Financial-grade API (FAPI)
  • SQL/SSRS and Power BI development
  • Migrating Dynamics CRM on premises to SaaS
  • Integrating CRM with other third-party systems
  • Familiar with .NET C# and React UI development solutions
