Description

A digital federal agency in Canberra is seeking a Business Analyst – Engagement Lead to be involved in product teams, conduct research and business analysis for continuous improvement efforts.

As a Business Analyst/Engagement Lead, you will

• be part of a multidisciplinary team, made up of a product manager, interaction designer, user researcher, developers and subject matter experts.
• collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide business analysis and stakeholder engagement expertise,
• engage with a range of stakeholders across the federal government.
• be responsible for conducting research, data analysis, and in-depth analysis of existing business processes, data and products and services both internal and external to government.
• work with other SMEs, to discover the right content and data, analyse the outcomes to provide insights and recommendations for the team and stakeholders.

Your main skills and experience

• As a Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst.
• In performance and experience measurement.
• Translating data to insights and visualisations.
• Working in a multidisciplinary team.
• Working with a range of federal government stakeholders.
• Within an Agile environment and working across organisational boundaries and physical locations to deliver services and product outcomes.
• Participating in user research activities and synthesis.

Nice if you have the following skills and experience

• Information or Data architecture practices.
• Knowledge of government policies/regulations related to measurement and reporting.

Other Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Current Commonwealth Government baseline security clearance an advantage, otherwise the ability to obtain one.
• Able to start immediately.
• Amenable for an eight month contract and may extend to another 6 months.
• Can work full time in Canberra ACT.
