An excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to be part of a finance business unit project within a federal government agency in Braddon ACT.

Successful candidate will deliver and manage existing projects relating to the agency’s financial and asset management systems using standard project management methodologies. This includes:

• development of project documentation and schedule,
• internal and external stakeholder management
• preparing and managing procurement exercises as required.

Your main skills and experience:

• At least 5 years in managing IT Projects, specifically the implementation of COTS software applications.
• In preparing and coordinating government procurement (RFT, RFQ etc).
• Ability to manage vendor relationships in a multi-vendor environment.
• Excellent communicator – written and verbal.
• Ability to engage and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.

Nice if you have the following experience:

• With Technology One’s platform Finance1.
• In managing delivery of financial IT systems.
• With delivery of financial institution’s web service integration.
• In managing delivery of asset management IT systems.

Other Requirements:

• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• Amenable for a 12 month employment contract with an option for another 6 months extension.
• Can start within 2 weeks after being offered the role.
• Able to work 40 hours a week in Braddon ACT office.
