SAP Infrastructure Project Manager - DM 22-333

Description

A Federal Gov't Dept client is seeking an experienced SAP Infrastructure Project Manager. Under the guidance of Program Manager or Senior Project Manager to focus on the delivery of the large infrastructure projects - on time, within budget, to agreed scope/quality and in full compliance with project delivery framework.

The SAP Infrastructure Project Manager ensures that all aspects of the project are on track with proper planning and stakeholder engagements, while also ensuring the available resources are fully utilised optimally, and uses their high-level judgment and make effective considerations on SAP based technologies which have wider departmental implications.

On many occasions, they work independently and take a structured and effective approach to their own work and demonstrate good leadership ability.

Duties may include some or all of the following:

  • Manage the successful delivery of the large infrastructure projects - on time, within budget, to agreed scope/quality and in full compliance with project delivery framework.
  • Manages major issues, escalations, and other interventions with a good sense of urgency and judgment necessary to keep projects on track, with special attention to stakeholder’s expectations.
  • Monitors and intervenes in delivery performance effectively Manages key stakeholders and communicates effectively Takes charge of the planning of projects, including a budget, resource planning and initiation of projects
  • Takes a structured and effective approach to own work and demonstrates good leadership ability
  • Prepares and shares periodic projects performance reports for various stakeholders including communicating value creation within own Projects, manages the resourcing of the projects effectively and makes critical decisions regarding resource planning
  • Utilises GovERP internal resources, strategic partners, and other vendors resources effectively Supports the initiation of projects, ensuring project agreements are rigorously reviewed by key stakeholders

Estimated Start Date: 14th November 2022

Term: Initial Term to 30th June 2023

Extension Options: Possibility of extensions up to 12 months, based on performance & business requirements

Work Location: Canberra

Security Clearance: Must be Australian Citizen. Personnel must hold a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance

Requirements

Mandatory Criteria

  • 10+ years’ experience managing large enterprise level complex project with particular focus on full compliance with project delivery framework
  • 5+ years technical experience in understanding of SAP infrastructure and effective SAP project delivery

Weighted Criteria

  • Experience in managing large enterprise level complex project with particular focus on full compliance with project delivery framework
  • Experience in in understanding of SAP infrastructure and effective SAP project delivery
  • Experience in the SAP code release cycle using Charm
  • Experience in ITIL change control process
