A superb opportunity for an experience Web Developer to work with a Federal Govt Department in Canberra ACT. Successful candidate will work on two projects:

• The final stage of a new SilverStripe CMS website to be released in August/September, with support from the former Web Developer. The site utilises HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Foundation and Sass. Tasks will include developing a shopping cart with web forms and connection to payment system, final styling, browser testing, print style sheets and updates as required from the testing stage.
• A new scrolling animated site that follows the path of legislation (from bill to law), using a designed user interface – as the sole developer.

Main skills and experience

• Strong proficiency with HTML5/CSS3, jQuery, and responsive design.
• Developing PHP and MySQL based Content Management Systems.
• Developing CSS pre-processors.
• Working knowledge of CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
• Adobe Creative Suite.
• Cross-browser development.
• Problem solving and attention to detail.

Nice to have skills/ experience in

• Development experience with various Content Management Systems.
• Using the SilverStripe CMS.
• With Git and GitHub.
• Works productively as part of a highly motivated team.
• Creative and promotes a positive creative culture .
• Enjoys working within and nurtures a supportive team environment.

For you to qualify

• Australian Citizen.
• Can work full time and on site in Canberra ACT office.
• Amenable for a six (6) month employment contract and possible extension.
• Available to start employment on or before 8 of July 2019.
