The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity for a Program Benefits Manager. Successful candidate will report to the Program Manager and will shape Business case and ensure that benefits are delivered by the program. The role will work with the Program Manager, Project Managers, the Program Planning Manager, the Technical and Business personnel and the Service Hub leads as an integral part of the PMO team.
The Program Benefits Manager will
- assist with developing benefits realisation strategies and plans and benefit ‘profiles’;
- develop and maintain a Benefits register (qualitative and quantitative);
- monitor and report on Program/Projects and liaise with project managers, Business Change managers and project sponsors to ensure that benefits are being/can be achieved through agreed governance structures; •
- assist with undertaking benefits reviews;
- assist with managing the implementation of project outputs and the realisation of Programme benefits through business change;
- Concurrently transfer knowledge to ongoing APS benefits realisation staff.
- Australian citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance
- Can work full time and on site in Canberra office
- Estimate start of employment on 17 February 2020
- Contract engagement until the 30th of June 2020
- Two contract extension periods of six months each
